Be the first to offer your condolences on Clara's Tribute Wall
On June 29, 1962, Eddie L. Edwards and Annie B. Edwards welcomed into the world a beautiful baby girl, Clara Lenora Edwards. On the morning of Saturday, September 15, 2018, Clara fell asleep in death in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family. Clara dedicated her life to Jehovah God and symbolized her dedication by water baptism on October 18, 1975. She served as one of Jehovah Witnesses in the Emporia, Virginia congregation. Clara devoted her life to helping people learn about and come to Jehovah God and the future hope of a resurrection on a paradise earth where there will be no more sickness, sorrow, pain or death. Clara graduated and received her High School Diploma from Greensville County High School in Emporia, Virginia. While giving glory to Jehovah God for his beautiful gift of creation, Clara exhibited many talents, but she especially enjoyed organizing flowers and plants. Clara was preceded in death by her father, Eddie Lenmore Edwards, Sr., her brother Eddie Lenmore Edwards, Jr., and a nephew, Chance Edwards. She leaves to cherish her memory; her mother, Annie B. Edwards; two sisters, Rosemary Williams (Davie) and Priscilla Williams (Cedric); three brothers, Ernest Edwards, Jimmy Edwards and Michael Edwards (Shena); one sister-in-law, Jackie Edwards; six nieces, Erica Vines, Toni Edwards, Crystal Jackson (Al), Wendi Edwards, Kellee Johnston and Arianna Edwards; seven nephews, Eddie Edwards III, Anthony Lewis, Kendall Edwards, Andrew Edwards, Jordan Edwards (Sa'dia), Brycen Edwards and Blake Barns; one great-nephew, Kendall Edwards Jr.; two great-nieces, Taylor Edwards and Kimora Jackson; along with the unshakable love of her aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
