Cynthia A. Moody, the youngest daughter of the Willie and Gladys Avent Wilkins was born September 10, 1956 in Greensville County, Virginia. Her earthly pilgrimage ended October 16, 2015 as she was called to her eternal rest. She was preceded in death by brother, Louis Easter. Cynthia, affectionately called "Cimp", spent her formative years in Greensville County where received her education from the Greensville County Public School System. She furthered her education at Norfolk State University. She returned to Greensville County where she began her career as a teacher from 1985 until retirement in 2010. A devoted and caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Cynthia enjoyed life especially the time spent with family, holding a special place in her heart for each one especially her four grandchildren. A skilled cook, Cynthia was well known for her delicious chicken salad and deviled eggs. Believing in the love of God, she gave her life to him at an early age. She joined the ministry and fellowship of Royal Baptist Church where she worshipped and served as an usher. Precious memories are cherished by her loving and devoted sons Keron Wilkins (Chaka) of Raleigh, NC and Jamal Wilkins of Emporia, VA; four grandchildren, Kimora Wilkins and Quaron Wilkins of Raleigh, NC, Kyrah Banks of Emporia, VA and Amauri Wilkins of Trenton, NJ; two sisters, Nellie Jones of Suffolk, VA and Rose Easter of Chesapeake, VA; four brothers, Robert Camp of Emporia, VA, Willie Wilkins (Iris) of Waldorf, MD, James Wilkins (Christine) of Landover, MD, Jerry Wilkins of Clarksville, TN and Barry Wilkins of Leavenwoth, KS; a host nieces, nephews and friends, included her best friend, Sandra Cain-Curry of Emporia, VA.
