Dale Wesley Daniels, son of the late Sam White and Mamie Daniels began his earthly pilgrimage on Thursday, March 18, 1954 in Greensville County, Virginia. ‘Pop’ as he was affectionately called by his family and friends, was educated in the Greensville County Public School System. He later attended the Job Corps and completed his studies to graduate.
After graduation, ‘Pop’ held several jobs to help provide for his family. He was gainfully employed with Miller Homes, Perdue and lastly, Greensville Manor of Emporia.
“The clock of life is wound but once, And no one has the power, To tell just where the hands will stop, At late or early hour. To lose one's wealth is sad indeed, To lose one’s health is more, To lose one’s soul is such a loss, As no one can restore. The present only is our own, LIVE, LOVE and TOIL with a will, Place no faith in tomorrow, For the clock may then be still.” On Monday, Monday August 1, 2022, our faith was exemplified, when our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, transitioned into eternal rest. In addition to his parents, ‘Pop’ was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Diamond Daniels and his siblings, Delois Lewis, Betty Kee and Thomas Daniels.
Sad is the parting, no one can tell: So sudden on earth the sorrow fell, The blow was hard, the shock severe; To part with one we love so dear. Only those who have lost can tell, The pain of parting without farewell. Dearer still, as days depart; Our loved one’s memory will forever live within the hearts of: his children, Dale A. Daniels (Kim) of Emporia, Virginia, Crystal N. Daniels-Wilson (Timothy) of Henrico, Virginia, Remonica Banks (Calvin) of Emporia, Virginia, Dailvonte Stith of South Brunswick, Virginia; six grandchildren, Alexis, Djsha, Calbrielle, Christianna, Haven, Lyric; sister, Joyce Powell of Emporia, Virginia; two brothers, Vernell Daniels of Emporia, Virginia and Leon Daniels (Gloria) of Baltimore, Maryland; devoted friend, Queen Daniels; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, relatives and friends.
Relatives and Friends are encouraged to visit Mr. Daniels' tribute wall to share memories, extend condolences and to order floral tributes, as sentiments to the family.
