Deon Darius 'Skeeno' Hayes

     Deon Darius Hayes, was born on Monday, February 12, 1996 to the parentage of Louise Hayes and the late Clifton M. Simmons.

     ‘Skeeno’, as he was so affectionately called by his family and friends, was educated in the public schools of both Brunswick and Greensville County, Virginia. As a loving son, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend, Deon enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends. He was a fun-loving, very caring and free spirited person.

     On Thursday, August 3, 2023; Deon was called home, at the tender age of 27. In addition to his father, Deon was preceded in death by: his brother, Raheem Sterling; his sister, Shamia Jones; his maternal grandmother, Lou Campbell; and his paternal grandparents, Anderson and Ida Elizabeth Simmons.

     Cherished memories will forever remain in the hearts of: his mother, Louise Hayes; three sisters, Susie Hayes, Jessica Hayes and Nekitra Tuell; two brothers, Robert Hayes and Martin Hayes; his father-at-heart, Richard Green; special friend, Amber Conner; a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Relatives and Friends are encouraged to visit  Mr. Hayes' tribute wall to share memories, 

extend condolences and to order floral tributes, as sentiments to the family.
