EUNICE WEBB MONTGOMERY departed this life on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Southern Virginia Regional Medical Center in Emporia, Virginia. Eunice was born on August 4, 1945 to the late Clinton and Essie Webb. Eunice had three sisters preceding her in death, Geraldine Ricks, Sarah Franklin and Katie Walton; four brothers, Clinton, Jr., Richard Roosevelt, Willie Garland and Jesse Webb. Eunice was educated in Greensville County and graduated from Wyatt High School in 1964. She then moved to Washington, DC and began her career with the Department of Veterans Affairs as a personnel assistant in VACO's Office of Human Resource Management. After thirty-five years of dedicated service, she retired and moved back home to Skippers, Virginia. Eunice was a very loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a very generous person who loved helping others. She loved bowling and was an active dedicated member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church and she often volunteered at Diamond Grove Baptist Church. Eunice leaves to cherish her precious memories, her two sons, James "Kelvin" Webb and Darrell Webb of Skippers, VA, one special grandson who she loved dearly, Corey Hawkins of Fort Washington, MD, one devoted brother, William Webb (Ernestine) of Washington, DC; two sisters-in-law, Mildred Web of Lottsburg, VA and Mary Webb of Washington, DC, three aunts, Pauline Lee of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Ernestine Lee of New York and Doris Weaver of McDonough, GA, two caretakers, Joyce Webb and Shirley Scott and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
