Geraldine (Rose) Walker

Mrs. Geraldine Rose Walker, 89, of Emporia, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2020; while in the care of Greensville Health & Rehabilitation Center of Emporia.  

Geraldine was born on Tuesday, September 30, 1930, in Sussex County, Virginia. For a number of years, she was employed as a cook with Sussex County Jail and the Dixie Motel.  She was united in matrimony to the late Elmer Walker, Sr.

Survivors include:  children, Robert Rose, Ernest Walker, Elmer Walker, Jr. and Patricia Walker; six grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
