Robert Anthony Gilliam was born in Washington, DC on October 28, 1955 to the late Robert Abe, Jr. and Patricia M. Gilliam. He was raised by his paternal grandparents, the late Robert Abe, Sr. and Mattie L. Gilliam, until 1965. Glenn was a chef. He enjoyed watching TV before he lost his sight. Then he enjoyed listening to music. He would keep you laughing by telling jokes and was a jolly person of love. Loving memories will remain in the hearts of those who loved him: three aunts, Annie Peebles of Conyers, GA, Corrine Jenkins (Edward) of Capitol Heights, MD, Dorothy Harvey (Theoplis) of Upper Marlboro, MD, two uncles, John Gilliam (Adriane) and Wayne Gilliam (Nell). Four stepchildren, Tonya Bass, Phantayne Adkins, Raquel Jones (Darryl) and Nathaniel Sims (Toni) all of Georgia.
