Hattie Belle Dugger was born on October 18, 1934 in Branchville, Virginia to the late Alphea and Elizabeth Harding Murphy. After the passing of her mother, God sent a Sweet Angel to help their father raise his children by the name of Ruth Britt Murphy whom they all called "Mother" Hattie Belle was baptized at the Rising Star Baptist Church at an early age where she was faithful member. She attended school in Southampton County, VA. Hattie was employed by Kingsberry Homes and later retired from Hampton Inn of Emporia. She was married to the late Roy Grant Dugger, Sr. and from this union they were blessed with four children; two sons preceded her in death, Roy Grant Dugger, Jr. and Lawrence Renea Dugger. Left to cherish in memory is her loving daughter, Barbara mills and devoted son, Alphea Dugger of Richmond, VA; one brother, Morris Murphy (Gladys), two sisters, Joyce Ann Ford and Carolyn Christian (Clyde); her grandchildren, Tameka Conyers (Leon), Monte' Mills (Shanika) Santricia Jarrett (Corey) and Rochelle Robertson; her great grandchildren, Tonella (Brandon), TJ, Toquawn, Corde and cordell, Shaniyah, Monte', Jr., Demaije, Demairre, Marcasia, Matricia, Darrilnasia, Isaiah, Calijuah, and Sharcori; great great grandchildren, Daviya and Viyanna. And a devoted friend, Beatrice Wright
