Helen (Johnson) Weaver

Mrs. Helen Weaver, age 81, of Richmond, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023; while in the care of Rosedale Health & Rehabilitation Center, Richmond, Virginia.  

Helen was born on Saturday, December 20, 1941 in Emporia, Virginia to the parentage of the late Josh and Virginia Johnson.

Helen was baptized, with her husband, on August 9, 1967, at Yankee Stadium. She was a faithful pioneer for many, many years. Up until her death, she would speak about Jehovah and how he had shown her love and provided comfort throughout her lifetime. She often asked if she would be written in Jehovah’s Book of Remembrance. We joyfully say, “Yes, Mommy, yes.”

In addition to her parents, Helen was  predeceased by:  beloved husband, Lloyd Weaver, Sr.; brothers: Robert Davis Field, Richard Johnson, Bernard Johnson, Randolph Johnson, Bennie Lee Johnson, and Roosevelt, Johnson; and one grandson, Brenton.

Helen is lovingly survived by: her children, Desiney, Lloyd Jr., Yvonka and Donnini Sr. and two sisters, Bettie Wright of Emporia, Virginia and Rosezella Tucker of Richmond, Virginia. She was the proud “Nanny” to 13 grandchildren and two great-grands.
