Jamie Ellis-Romero

Jamie Lucette "Puddin" Ellis-Romero was born on March 30, 1964 in Emporia, VA to the late Leon and Dora Morgan Ellis. She was the last of eight children born to their union. Jamie was educated in the Greensville County Public Schools. She graduated from Greensville County High School in 1983. Jamie worked as a waitress for many years. She had a smile that would light up a room. Jamie loved visiting her family and spending time with them. She was a lover of music and fashion. Jamie leaves to cherish two children, Darius Keeton and T'Kai Ellis; her husband, Miguel Romero; her siblings, Annie Johnson (Ralph)of Lawrenceville, VA, Cordelia Lewis of Wilmington, NC, Irving Ellis (Velma)of Petersburg, VA, Helen Gaines of Richmond, VA, Shirley Dunn (James)of Emporia, VA and Joseph Ellis of Waldorf, MD, One sister, Ginger Riley preceded her in death. an adopted sister, Kathy Lucas of Emporia, VA; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends included Minister, Alice Allen and a special friend, Bernard Porter that will miss her greatly.
