Keith Dwayne Lancaster was born to Charles Wendell and Anna Mae Lancaster on February 19, 1951, who has preceded him in death. He had six siblings; Sallie Dusenbury, Carol Postley and Robert Lancaster welcomed him home. Keith is survived by his two sisters; Margaret Gwynn and Jean Christopher, his brother; George W. Lancaster and numerous loving nieces and nephews. Keith was educated in the public schools system in New York City. Upon graduating high school, he enlisted in the military where her served two terms in the Vietnam War from 1969 to 1974. He was a model soldier and was highly respected by his superiors and his peers. Once discharged for the service, Keith enrolled at Bronx Community College. He graduated with an Associate's Degree in Psychology. Keith enjoyed working on cars, so he enrolled in an Automotive Engineers Program. Keith earned his certification and was quickly hired as a teacher. Keith was a thinker, he liked examining the dynamics of life. He was very creative and was known for coining terms. (Remember the Barium Thinker & Overwatch.) To get a feel for how he was a person that would listen to what his neighbors had to say: Sylvester and his wife, Carrie Vaughan said "He was very nice. A gentleman at all times. He was like a fixture of the community.
