Leon Andrews

Leon Andrews departed this life on Thursday, October 30, 2014 surrounded by family. He was born on December 4, 1949 in Greensville County, Virginia to the late Robert and Magline Lewis Andrews. He attended Greensville County Public Schools. Leon furthered his education in the Job Corps there he learned the skills to become a first class mechanic. Leon loved his family and friends. His annual Fourth of July cookouts brought the family together and there was always plenty of food and good time had by all. He would willingly lend a hand to any one in need. He has left to cherish in memory a devoted friend, Vanessa Boone; eight sibling, Fred of Stream Valley, NY, Albertha of Jamaica, NY, Thelma Arteen of Emporia, VA, Irene of Jamaica, NY, Nathaniel (Jacqueline) of Rosedale, NY, David (Doris) of Richmond, VA, Larry (Cassandra) of Chesapeake, VA and Dorothy of Emporia, VA; seven nieces and nephews, Ted (Rebecca) of Emporia, VA,Monique of Stream Valley, NY, Derryck (Tyra) of Richmond, VA, Erica (Kenneth) of Jarratt, VA, Dominique of Richmond, VA, Larry II of Chesapeake, VA and Jermaine of Emporia, VA; nine great nieces and nephews, Christopher, Markos, Andre', Laticia, Jaeden, Darian, MaKayla, Lauryn, Allen. And many devoted relatives and friends. A special cousin Joseph Callis.
