“Upon life’s journey, we are given opportunities to plant seeds of goodness, seeds of kindness, and seeds of blessings that bestow our hearts, our work, and our being. For those that sow the fields with loving generosity, so shall they reap the abundant harvest of eternal life.”
Louise Pearson Moody, daughter of the late Dallas Roberts and Vastie Pearson, began her journey through life on Thursday, January 14, 1937, in Emporia, Virginia.
“For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” (II Timothy 4: 6-7) On Tuesday, May 4, 2021; while in the care of Southern Virginia Regional Medical Center, Emporia, Virginia; our dear loved one quietly transitioned from earthly labour unto eternal reward. Her seeds are well-sown; her service on earth is complete, and she now experiences the victory and triumph of eternal life. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Larry Darnell Moody.
Your life was full of loving deeds, forever thoughtful of our special needs. Today and tomorrow, our whole life through, we will always love and cherish you. Her sweet spirit, caring heart and generosity will long be remembered by all those whose lives she touched. We who remain, struck by the bitter pain of death, but satisfied with the promise made by God, that He would wipe all tears from our eyes: her children, Tyrone Moody and Joyce Johnson (Eric) and Diane Elizabeth Boyd; daughter-in-law, Denise Moody; grandchildren, Twanda Turner, Tinisha Turner, Shatoya Moody, Taurean Cedric Moody, Tyrone ‘TJ’ Moody and Dontae Moody; brother, George Pearson (Mertes); sister-in-law, Ella Robinson; a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
