On Monday, May 26, 2014 the Lord called our beloved mother, sister and devoted friend Mildred L. Robinson home. Mildred was born to the union of the late John and Viola Robinson in Northampton County, NC. She joined Jerusalem Baptist Church at an early age. She remained a member until her health began to fail. She received her education through Northampton County Public School System. She leaves to cherish her loving memories one sister; Evelyn Kelly of Stanford, Connecticut, four sons; Terry Robinson (Arletha) of Skippers, VA, Ronnie Robinson (Denise) of Emporia, VA, Daryl Robinson of Winder, Georgia and Dexter Square of Charlotte, NC, two daughters; Delilah Jackson of Petersburg, VA and Bobbye Jackson of Gaston, NC, 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren, a very special devoted lifetime companion; James D. Stephens of Emporia, VA, other devoted friends; Carolyn Barner, Marlene Freeman and Betty Seldon all of Emporia, VA, two brothers-in-law; George Atkins of Richmond, VA and Harvey Atkins of Emporia, VA, not only were they like brothers to her, they were devoted confidants, also left to cherish her loving memories a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
