Nicole’s Life Sketch
A limb has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says, “Grieve not for me.
Remember the best times, the laughter, the song.
The good life I lived while I was strong.
Nicole Kim Lemon graced the world with her presence on Monday, December 29, 1969, in Brooklyn, New York. She was born to the parentage of Mrs. Sheila Marie Green and the late Alexander Lemon. Nicole grew and developed into a sweet and compassionate young lady. Nicole dedicated her life to serve Jehovah and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, on May 30, 1999.
In 2001, Nicole graduated from Southside Community College, where she became a Licensed Practical Nurse. Nicole became gainfully employed with Popular Springs Hospital in Petersburg, Virginia. For 20 years, she was able to display and exuberate her love for nursing and passion for working with children.
Nicole was known to many by her affection, genuine love and infectious smile, that could easily brighten anyone’s day. Her smile was accompanied by a warm and bubbly personality that was a winner for everyone. Nicole was a beautiful person both internally and externally, who had an unconditional love for her family, friends and children. She was kind-hearted, always greeting everyone with a smile. Her work showed her to be a faithful, and gifted woman of service, until her health failed her.
Nicole enjoyed and embraced life to the fullest. She lived her life with grace and in peace, largely because of her belief in God and love for her family. Her sweet smile, services, dedication and hardwork no one will be able to ever replace. On Tuesday, July 14, 2020 while in the care of St. Mary’s Hospital of Richmond, Virginia, Nicole quietly fell asleep in death.
