Richard McGee Cain

Richard McGee Cain was born on June 4, 1948 in Southampton County, Virginia. He departed this life on Wednesday, September 4, 2014 at the Retreat-Henrico Doctors Hospital in Richmond, Virginia; after a short illness. Richard was educated in the Southampton County Public School System. After finishing school he moved to Trenton, New Jersey, there he worked at Trenton Building Block until became disable. After 40 years; Richard moved back to Emporia, Virginia. Richard leaves to cherish in memories his mother, Sallie Cain; two daughters, Shenell Goldware of Emporia, VA and Renee Smith of Trenton, NJ; one brother, Waverly Cain of Emporia, VA; two sisters, Lois Mabrey of Trenton, NJ and Carlton Cain of Emporia, VA; six grandchildren Carsica Smith, Alexis Johnson, Brittany Johnson Alzavier Upshur all of Trenton, NJ, Markies Goldware and Tyreek McNear of Burlington, NJ Richard was preceded in death by one daughter, Jacquenette Mitchell, his father, Russell Lee Allen, one brother, Clarence Cain and one sister, Rose Cain
