Thomas Levi Hill

Thomas Levi Hill, son of the late Thomas Mayes Hill and Mamie Green Hill was born on Tuesday, January 14, 1958 in Halifax County, North Carolina.

Thomas received his early spiritual training at Royal Baptist Church of Emporia, Virginia, where he was baptized at a young age. He was educated in the Greensville County Public School System, graduating with the class of 1975. Following graduation, Levi decided to follow the path of his father, uncle and several of his family members and enlisted in the military.

Thomas worked with Greensville County Public Schools, where he was employed for thirty-five years in the Central Cafeteria Department, ensuring that the students and staff were well-nourished so they could make it through the day. Most students and staff knew Thomas and appreciated the effort and pride he always put into his employment.

Thomas was married to the late Linda Jones Hill and after her passing he married Catherine Davis Reeves on December 25, 2007. Eventually, they moved to Baltimore, Maryland. Levi loved and cared for her, being the major caretaker, providing loving care to her until her passing. Missing his family, Levi decided to return home to spend time with his brother.

On the morning of Saturday, June 4, 2022, our beloved Thomas Levi Hill was called from earthly labor unto eternal rest, while in the comfort of his home.

Cherished memories will forever remain in the hearts of: a brother, Joseph Wendell Hill of the home; one grandchild, Robert Jones, III of Washington, DC; one great-greatgrandchild, Ja’san; one uncle, Robert Mason (Vivian) of Plainfield, New Jersey; cousins, Robert Wells of Portsmouth, Virginia and Andrea Mason of Plainfield, New Jersey; special friends, Cynthia Whitaker and Joyce Mayes; a host of cousins and friends.

Relatives and Friends are encouraged to visit Mr. Hill's tribute wall to share memories, extend condolences and to order floral tributes, as sentiments to the family.
