And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishers. And he saith unto them, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

~ Matthew 4: 18

Thomas Lee Robinson, Sr. was born in Greensville County, Virginia on Sunday, January 18, 1970 to Dennis and Geraldine Davis Robinson. He was educated in the Greensville County Public School System; graduating with the class of 1988.

Thomas was a man of many talents. He enjoyed fishing, being the family handyman, providing the youth with advice and expressing his love for his family; especially his “Momma” as she was affectionately known. He was strong, inspirational, dedicated and caring to those who met him. His latest pastimes were fishing with his children and checking on “Momma.” He was a man of integrity and exemplified it in every way.

"Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free, I’m following the path God laid for me. I took his hand when I heard his call, I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, To laugh, to love, to work, to play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, I’ve found that peace at the close of the day. If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My Life’s been full, I savoured much, Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch, Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me, God wanted me now, He set me free!" - On Friday, April 24, 2020; while in the care of Southern Virginia Regional Medical Center, Emporia, Virginia. Thomas was preceded in death by: two brothers, Leroy Davis, Sr. and Michael W. Robinson; one sister, Vickie Robinson; his grandparents, Richard and Lela Powell Davis, Cato Robinson and Ira Threat.

Fond memories will forever be cherished in the hearts of: his children; Jasmine V. Robinson, Tierra L. Robinson, Thomas L. Robinson, Jr. and Brinetta R. Jones-Robinson; one grandson, Noah B. Stallings; devoted parents; Dennis W. and Geraldine Davis Robinson; one brother, Troy L.
