God called Willie Mae Harris to rest on November 17, 2014. Willie Mae was born to Willie and Lizzie Turner Thomas on June 15, 1926 in Matthew, Georgia. She was raised in Aiken, South Carolina and was baptized at an early age. She moved to southern New Jersey in her early twenties and finally settling in Bridgeton, New Jersey. Willie Mae worked as a Farm Laborer until she became unable to work. She later moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and then returned to Bridgeton, New Jersey. When her health began to fail, she moved to Emporia, Virginia to be near her son and daughter-in-law. She spent five years in the care of Greensville Manor. Willie Mae leave to cherish her loving memories one son, John Thomas (Dorothy); four grandchildren, Felisha, Sherrie, Tyjoun and Tywan. She also leaves a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
