Willie Robinson

Willie Robinson, son of the late Ersie Jane Robinson, began his journey through life on Saturday, May 26, 1956 in Greensville County, Virginia.

Willie was educated in the Greensville County Public Schools. While living in Richmond, he was an active member of Faith Landmark Church.

Willie was a family man. He loved his family with all of his heart. Spending quality time with his great-grandkids brought him great joy. As soon as he walked into the room, they would say, “Hey PaPa, Can you help us make a paper airplane?” He would come right in, with his 3 piece suits on after church, and fulfill their wish. He was shy and quiet, but could easily make anyone laugh. He was always so full of life. Willie was a sharp dresser. He loved his suits and shoes. He would walk just like he was walking the runway.

On Wednesday, August 3, 2022, Willie went on to be with the Lord. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. Willie was taken from us way too soon, but he’s in a better place now. He will truly be missed!

Treasured memories will forever remain in the hearts of: five children, Demetrice Towles (Markece), Octavious McDaniel, Angel Robinson, Jonathan Robinson and David Robinson; seven grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren; his siblings, Mary Lee Hicks, Deloris Taylor, Sylvia Jean Hill (Samuel), Alexander Robinson (Carolyn) George Robinson (Althea), MacArthur Robinson (Wanda), Joanna Person and Dewayne Robinson (Phyllis); a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Relatives and Friends are encouraged to visit Mr. Robinson's  tribute wall to share memories, extend condolences and to order floral tributes, as sentiments to the family.
